Lincoln Park Engagement Photos With Tosha + Rogelio

There is something very special about engagement sessions. Maybe, it's the fact that they represent the beginning of a new and wonderful chapter for the couple; maybe, it's about that sense of love, friendship, and commitment that spreads all around. Or maybe it's just that we are too excited to be part of such a significant moment. Either way, we are absolutely crazy about them, and the session with Tosha and Rogelio was no exception. 

They met seven years ago while attending the University of Wisconsin and soon enough became inseparable. In 2013, Tosha started medical school and Chicago became their new home, so it made sense they wanted this beautiful city, to be the backdrop for their engagement portraits. Of all the places around the city, we knew that one embodied everything they were looking for, as much as everything we needed to achieve the perfect shots. With its lagoons, wide grassy fields and a stunning city skyline, Lincoln Park was the perfect choice for an afternoon full of fun and magic. 

Selecting a good place might seem enough to get great images, but that is not quite the case. The attire always plays a big part in our sessions, that is why we always recommend to our clients to select clothes that they love and feel great in. You could imagine our excitement when Tosha and Rogelio asked if they could be photographed in matching outfits. Her family is originally from Cameroon, so she wanted to incorporate the traditional patterns and designs of her native country, as one of the looks for their session.
